Hi, we are Anna and Max. If you are reading this, you probably like bikes, so let us introduce ourselves and welcome you to our world of Standert Bicycles, because - isn't the bike just the best invention of mankind? At least in the Top 10 ;-) We founded Standert 2012 and have enjoyed every step on our way ever since. Our efforts always focus on the principle of not making and offering for sale any product that we would not buy and use 100% ourselves, and so our motto is simple: We build the best bikes we can!
CEO AND FOUNDER
The father of two loves the road, but he has a real soft spot in his heart for MTB and he hopes tectonic shifts will give Berlin mountains in his lifetime.
HEAD OF MARKETING
Bene, a Berlin native, calls Standert home since 2014. When he's not working you can find him riding bikes with Team Standert.
HEAD OF PRODUCT
Maxe's cycling-obsession has led him to put as many people on bikes as possible. He makes sure you’ll get the proper tool and the motivation to use it.
Anna has been working with Max on the standert dream from the beginning. She thinks cycling is the future. Her passion is making things happen. And there is always something happening.
HEAD OF SALES
Tom comes from the South West of England and spent his teen years mountain biking and now spends all his time on his road bike in and around Berlin, in the mountains, and racing with his friends on Team Standert.
Started from the fixie to road to cross, never raced never will but always likes going fast. Kinda an aero nerd.
When Anja is not selling bikes in the showroom, she is probably on her next adventure on the bike. Because riding is much more fun in a company, Anja loves to bring people together. Thanks to her we will be able to organise rides and events for female cyclists in the future.
After 20 Years in the business, Peter can get no sleep till the last screw is tight. Hallelujah Torx wrench!
Moi used to fix motorbikes in Barcelona, now he's here to build beautiful bikes for us in Berlin. You can see him in the woods or streets on the bikes with the lucky cat logo.
Johannes has the rare pleasure to personally admire every bike that leaves our premises. Also he makes sure that the packaging of our products receives at least as much love as the assembling.
Savannah is our resident Australian, In the eight years of her photography career, she had never photographed Derailleur Hangers before working for Standert.
Born in Istanbul and blossomed in Italy, Gökhan is a writer inspired by traveling and road bikes (obviously). You will probably catch him in the best pizzerias of Berlin.
Magnus creates videos for Standert and works behind the scenes, when he is not sitting on his bike he creates videos for his Youtube Channel.
OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND BOOKKEEPING
Francisco loves a well-sorted folder almost as much as bicycles, musical instruments and movies. Besides the organisation around Standert, he is a hobby cyclist, hobby handyman, hobby musician, hobby photographer, etc. etc.
Daniele has spent the majority of his life as a cycling enthusiast: first as a professional cyclist and now as bicycle mechanic. He gives his best and always tries to create something special.
Tom is a bike mechanic and musician from the U.K. He started mechanics after getting into cycling and fixing his own bikes. Now he splits his time between building bikes and playing the saxophone.
Alex comes from Catalonia. He's a mechanical engineer, and is in charge of the stock and workshop logistics. He likes to ride bike-trials and plays in a punk rock band.
