Product FAQ

Standert Bikes Kreissäge RS aluminium aero race bike team edition sram red e1
Made of Scandium? What exactly is it?

Scandium is a rare-earth element whose use is almost exclusively reserved for adding to Aluminium to form an alloy with incredible properties for building bike frames. Most notably, the addition of Scandium to Aluminium allows the production of tubes which are not only thinner (which means lighter), but are stronger than regular Aluminium.

What is the maximum tyre clearance?

The Kreissäge RS can handle tyres up to 35mm wide, as measured on your wheels (the printed widths can vary greatly depending on rim width etc.)

Where is this bike made?

Every single Kreissäge RS is both hand-made and painted by incredible craftspeople in Italy, before being assembled to your specification by our expert mechanics right here in Berlin.

What is included in the Frameset option?

In the box you will get the frame, fork, headset, headset expander, bottom bracket (of your choice), inlay set, thru-axles and a seat clamp. Plus any additional extras you select in the configurator.

Can I build my KREISSÄGE RS with mechanical groupsets?

This bike is compatible with electronic groupsets only. It does however play nicely with all major electronic options, both wired and wireless.

Which bottom bracket does it use?

It has a threaded T47 bottom bracket which provides not only a wider, stiffer platform but also maximum crankset compatibility. We offer options for all major crankset/axle combinations.

What if I can't find the exact parts I want to spec my bike with?

We've spend a long time carefully curating the available specs to best match the bike. We do of course always try our best to accomodate requests, so please get in touch at shop@standert.de to discuss your requirements.
