From our home in Berlin to yours.
Not everyone is lucky enough to live in Berlin, but thankfully that doesn't have to stop you riding a Standert. We offer shipping on the smallest parts right through to complete bikes to almost anywhere in the world.

Following order and payment confirmation, we aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. We typically ship bike and frameset orders with our premium logistics partner DHL Express, offering fast, reliable and environmentally conscious delivery, with express options available to most destinations. Shipping with Cargoboard/DHL is also available in some regions. You can find our guide to processing and delivery times as well as average costs below.

Shipping costs are calculated live in your cart and confirmed when you receive your final invoice.

If you're in Berlin, why not come and collect your dream bike in person from our HUB in Kreuzberg? Simply select pickup at checkout.

Taxes & Duties

 

Within the EU (excludes Switzerland & Norway): All relevant duties/taxes are included in your final order price, nothing more to pay. VAT varies by country and is calculated based on shipping destination.

United Kingdom: Orders to the UK are shipped excluding UK VAT. All taxes and customs duties are payable upon arrival in the UK. This process is very simple thanks to our delivery partners DHL who will provide all relevant information and the payment gateway to ensure prompt delivery.

Outside the EU: Your order is shipped excluding German VAT. Please note, local taxes and duties may apply and Standert is not responsible for payment or brokerage. Don't worry though, the process is extremely simple thanks to DHL. All customs processes are handled on your behalf by DHL and you will simply receive a link to securely pay the bill, where one applies. Customs clearance usually begins during transit to reduce or eliminate any delays upon entry.
Please note, failure to promptly pay taxes and duties may result in delivery delays or your shipment being returned to Standert. In this event, your order will be refunded minus all costs associated with the return shipping and processing. Our full return/refund policy can be found here.

Disc-brake bikes/frames include thru-axles.

All orders come with all necessary screws and inlays and cable guides.

Complete Bikes

We ship complete bikes in our own custom designed boxes. Your new bike comes with everything installed except the front wheel. The handlebars are turned for packing. Only some minimal assembly/setup is required.

Returns

 

If you wish to return your purchased item, you may do so within 30 days of delivery. All returned items must be in unused, brand new condition to the address provided at the bottom of the page. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Beyond the first 30 days of receiving your order, all products are non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable. If a returned item is received to Standert Bicycles damaged due to negligent packaging or re-packaging by the customer, we will be unable to issue a refund. The best thing to do is contact customer support and explain your situation. Let's resolve this together.

Full Return and Refund Policy

Our 30-day Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we do offer a 30-day return window. We will take back the product and give you a full refund.

If you wish to process a return, please proceed with the following guidelines:
Products can only be returned if they are still in their original condition and packaging. Used products or products damaged by the customer will not be eligible for a refund.

Return request must be submitted within 30 days of when your product was shipped.
Submit your return request to shop@standert.de
or through our contact form, please include your order number and the reason for return. Upon approval, you will receive further instructions and the address of the warehouse where you should ship back the product.
The return shipping fee is the responsibility of the customer.

Please ship back your return as soon as possible. All returns must be postmarked within the 30 days of your return window.
To assure your refund, please use a trackable shipping service (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx). We will not be responsible for lost or missing packages.

Upon receipt of your shipment, your refund will be processed within 2 – 3 business days.
A credit will be applied to your original method of payment. A refund receipt will be emailed to the email address you used when making your original purchase.
I Haven’t Received My Refund
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please contact your credit card company, there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. We have seen some credit card companies take up to 30 days to show that a refund has been posted. If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.

Items Exempt From Being Returned
Gift cards
Sale items or clearances are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned.

Wrong Or Damaged Item Received?
Have you received a damaged or wrong item, please contact us and we will provide you with a free replacement. A shipping label will be provided to return your product. We will cover all shipping costs.
We ask you to inspect all items upon delivery and report to us any damages right away so we can handle your concern correctly.
For damaged products please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before, so a claim can be filed correctly.

I’ve Entered The Wrong Shipping Address!
If this happens to you, contact us as soon as possible, we MIGHT be able to take care of it. However, we can’t promise anything as all our items are usually processed immediately after you order and we ship out the same day or a few days after. If your order has already entered the shipping process, we won’t be able to stop it.
We should not be responsible if you entered an incomplete and/or incorrect shipping address. Our system automatically processes orders and just follows what you supplied.

Cancellations
You may ask us to cancel your order. We will do everything we can to facilitate your request, however please note that once your order has been processed, we make no guarantee that this is possible.

Once your order has been shipped, we are unable to cancel your order. If you wish to cancel your order at this point, you must initiate a return according to the terms of the policy outlined above and will be responsible for return shipping costs.

PLEASE NOTE:
Failure to accept delivery of your order or failure to pay outstanding duties, resulting in the return of goods to seller, will be considered a cancellation outside of your right to cancel. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and any additional processing costs incurred by Standert in this event. Upon receipt of the returned order by Standert, you will be refunded the value of your order, minus both outbound and inbound shipping costs and any additional costs incurred by Standert.
