The Triebwerk Mach3 is ready to launch. The newest version of our steel road bike is the best road bike we ever made. Some major updates and the results in our extensive test phase give us the confidence to say this out loud.
It will be available in Spring 2018. To shorten the wait a little bit we will guide you through the 3 main improvements we have made.
Di2 ready. Yes, all Triebwerk Mach3 frames will be ready to be ridden with your beloved Di2 or EPS. One of the three available versions will be a special limited edition, with internal cable routing for the rear brake and no mechanical shifting stops. So fresh and so clean - obviously this means electronic only - love it or leave it.
It’s almost a religious question which bottom bracket to give your bikes - BSA? PF30? BB30? ... Our new church is called T47. A rather new standard developed by Chris King and partners. It brings together the pros of BSA and PressFit and at the same time leaves out the cons. And it looks sick. All frame sets will come with matching Chris King headset and bottom bracket.
New tube mix. With our partners at Columbus we put together a special mix of their tubes for the Triebwerk Mach3. Attention - catchphrase dropping: Optimized for stiffness and compliance! Think of the frame as divided into lower and upper part. In the lower half beefy MAX chainstays, the T47 BB, a biovalized Life downtube and the HSS 44 headtube take care of the stiffness part, while in the upper half a light Life seattube, an even lighter Spirit tobtube and super skinny Spirit Keirin seatstays have you covered on the compliance front. The best steel has to offer, simple and beautiful, while highly functional.
