Bike Leasing

Rather than purchasing your bike outright, your employer leases it through whichever leasing company they have a contract with, and a monthly fee is deducted from your gross salary. This means you not only get a brand new bike, but you reduce your taxable income (which can amount to an effective saving of as much as 40% depending on your circumstances). The most immediate advantages are of course the flexibility to pay for your bike over many instalments in addition to the effective savings derived from reducing your taxable income. However there are also advantages throughout the time you have the bike. Many leasing contracts also allow you to add approved accessories such as pedals and locks, so you can enjoy the same benefits on those too.

Bike leasing contracts include insurance for your bike which usually cover theft, accidents and damage so you don't need to arrange your own cover. Most contacts also include, or have an option for, regular servicing packages which provide an annual allowance to keep your bike running like new. You can take advantage of this at our own Berlin workshop, one of our servicing locations or anywhere else you choose.

Bike leasing is available on any complete bike from Standert. Please note some companies have budget limits. Your employer/leasing company can let you know exactly what applies to you.

Once at checkout, first enter your details, including your full German address, then under "Payment", all available leasing options will appear. If we need any additional info from you, the instructions will appear once you've selected your company and you can enter these above the Order button.

Once you've checked out, your bike will be on hold and we'll shortly create the leasing offer with your company. Please note, your order isn't confirmed until the offer is accepted by all parties. Some companies require the purchase or proof of an approved bike lock and this will happen at this stage.

We may need to contact you to clarify further information or amend your order during the approval process. Please ensure a timely response so we can get your bike build underway as quickly as possible. If we're unable to create the order within 14 days, unfortunately your order will be cancelled.
