Building the Foundation The last few years have been a masterclass in growth. We moved out of the basement, scaled our assembly, and built a professional infrastructure that can handle the world. We took over a massive industrial space on the city's edge to give our ambitions room to breathe. It was a phase of high-speed learning, incredible demand, and proving to ourselves what Standert is capable of on a global scale.
Those square meters allowed us to build every single bike with the same precision as the first one in the shop ten years ago. One mechanic, one bike, one customer. We wouldn’t be where we are without that space and that experience.
Lessons from the Headwinds The recent years in the bicycle industry have been a test of character. While the world outside was shifting, we were inside, refining our craft and weathering the storm. We didn't just stay afloat; we learned exactly what makes us resilient. These years taught us that the strength of a brand isn’t measured in the size of its warehouse, but in the tightness of its team and the clarity of its purpose.
We used this time to look at what we have, what we’ve done, what we wanted next.
Refocusing the Lens What we realised is that we’ve mastered the "big." Now, we want the "close."
We’ve gained the experience, the professional structure, and the technical maturity. Now, we’re taking all those valuable lessons and bringing them back to the source. We’re moving the whole operation back to the heart of Berlin. Back to Kreuzberg.
Stage 4: Everything Aligned Our new HQ is a celebration of everything we’ve learned. It’s smaller, cosier, and sexier. It’s a space that prioritises the buzz of the city and the proximity to our community. By moving back to the Kreuzberg, we’re not leaving our growth behind, we’re bringing it home. We’re taking the professional power of the last three years and plugging it back into the energy of the streets.
This is the next chapter. Higher focus, closer connection.
See you in Kreuzberg. The coffee is on us.
Geil bleiben.
